As I start my walk, I could not help but imagine my old days at this school. As a small kid back then the gate was huge, It was a tower of defense against malingering little gangsters, but now its far from being a grey wall it is colorful, no longer complex and agitating as before.
When you enter the school you well be welcomed by a parade of trees. I like how they are planted, They have this way of guiding guests into the school and it feels like walking inside a Saber Arch.
Truth be told I find these trees wonderful and enchanted at the same time.
Truth be told I find these trees wonderful and enchanted at the same time.
I remember playing with the drys leaves and poking my friends on the neck with the needle like leaf. :D I think most kids and adult who studied here practiced the "injection".
As I was taking photos, the naked poopy suddenly ran across the field and disturbing the children that were playing a slipper game. Thanks to his radiating charm, the kids didn't mind poopies intrusion.
Anyway, Years back this field was much larger, Higher grades used to play softball here and other stuffs like Chinese garter. I thought they \ own the lot but it did not matter for us, we lower grades were happily comfortable at our classroom and below it. :D
Segunda.
Mornings were fun if your not late. There is some kind of stigma when you arrive in an on going flag ceremony. I was always watched with laughing eyes and obnoxious smirks since I was always late. So If I knew I was gonna be Super late I pretended to have a stomach ache and be absent for the morning class . Gonna love those dramas. :D. but the drama was not always successful . That's why with some other comrades we were often the cream of the crop. :D
Behind the quadrangle, the flag pole, is a mini park. I cant remember much playing in this side of school. but there is a feeling that I fell down here. A suppressed memory perhaps? ha.
As I move forward, I came across to this class rooms. I have no memory or so in this part. So, I asked my sister about this place.
I found out that this classrooms where used by higher grades. That figures, this area is fresh for me. I think this is my first time being here in this side.
Afterwards I took a photo under the building, I took only one photo for I was creep out of the cold gush of winds. ahah. timing la, han nakad2 ak ha gawas waray hangin.
Well, To the little gangsters this place was a haven, trades are done here, Gambling of Jolens, Teks, tansans and for the ajusshi, the elders, real money were used. Tachi, tarap tarap, Laton laton, ano pa ba ad2?
Tersira.
With my sexy back, I went back up to the main building and took a stroll. While searching for sturdy wood boards to step on, poopy start barking at a lizard. It took me 10 seconds to realize that near the lizard was the door of my grade 3.
What I remember on this hall was being the arena of the dampa boys, who fights over for bragging rights. They battle on who`s dampa is stronger by overturning a coconut husk brush. A.k.a Lampaso.
I won once. I was the boy for the day. But later that night my hands swell and could not go to school for 2 days. ahah. after that I retired from the arena and focused on the gangsters side.

Alangalang I Central School is like a park with classrooms. :D Synchronized Trees touching the sky, green colored grounds and giving an ambiance of relaxation.
To add up, when I was touring I saw a kid stalking, an another kid silently walking towards a dislodge rock, I observed and after a while... laughters sprung. They were playing hide and seek + Langit Lupa.
The audible smirks made me realize that being a pupil here was a unique privilege. I`m past 20 and I just recently got the picture. I thank this blog for awakening the idea.
That`s why in the nearing future if I would be blessed to have a kid on my own. I would enroll them here.in order for them to experience the beauty of simple life.
Furthermore, the school is close to our home. :D
One for the road,. There was once a sign board saying:
" Basura mo I bulsa mo " - Your trash, you keep it."
And I followed it unconsciously. Until now I`m still placing candy wrappers and other small trash into my pockets. My little contribution to mother earth and a golden lesson I learnt from this school park. :D ( Leyte ),
